| Photographica World is the Club's
quarterly journal dedicated to publishing articles and research on
different aspects of photographic history, book reviews and
correspondence. The journal has been published since 1977 and is now a 40
page colour journal. |
| Photographica World has published well
over 2˝ million words since its first issue in 1977. The original un-named
journal was set up with the intention of making introductions between
members. |
| It gained its current name in 1985 and now
largely consists of research articles on cameras, photographic equipment,
photographs and the history of photography. Under the editorship of
Michael Pritchard from 1987 until February 2002 the journal expanded its
content to coverage of photographic history news and museum news and
extended correspondence and book and exhibition review sections. Reports
of Club activities and membership news were moved to a new publication,
Tailboard in 1997. |
John Marriage took over the mantle in 2002
and has focused the magazine on the research and descriptive articles,
book reviews and correspondence.
